When I got pregnant last year, I thought that I could handle all of the mood swings, the unusual cravings, and most of all, the weight gain. What I failed to realize was that while my baby was out of my system, all the weight that I had gained during my pregnancy was not. It was disconcerting to say the least that I had gained at least the weight of a teenager. I sorely missed my thin physique. I tried exercising but it hasn’t really done much for me. I realized that with all the stress of having a newborn baby around, I’ve completely let myself go. Wanting to be proactive and not just whining around, I signed myself up for an eDiet program and so far, I’ve lost a couple of pounds. I’m still a long way off from my pre-baby weight but I’m sure with a little perseverance and determination, I can go back to my original weight.
